We continuously seek opportunities to optimize our bulk liquid storage network through expansion and new development.  Several of our terminals have experienced significant growth and demand for services, and we have initiated upgrades accordingly.

Sioux City Terminal

This railcar storage expansion project provides our customers with a cost competitive alternative to the local railroad(s).  

Construction Highlights

  • Phase I Rail expansion
    • Two additional rail spurs added
    • Eighteen railcar storage spots
    • Completed December 2015
  • Phase II Rail expansion
    • Four additional rail spurs added
    • Eighteen railcar storage spots
    • Completed August 2016

Houston #1 Terminal

Construction Highlights

  • 15 carbon steel tanks – gross capacity 1 million gallons storage capacity each
  • Options: heating, insulation and nitrogen blanketing
  • Access to two deep-draft docks (35-foot draft)
  • Logistics: Seagoing vessels, barges, trucks and railcars
  • Very suitable for, but not limited to: vegetable oils, base oils, biodiesel, methyl esters, fertilizers, caustics
  • Customized solutions possible for specific product requirements
  • Advantages
    • Vessel wait time low, resulting in low demurrage charges
    • Faster truck turn-around time
  • Completed December 2015

Philadelphia Terminal

Construction Highlights

  • Eight carbon steel tanks – gross capacity 1 million gallons each
  • Two stainless steel tanks – gross capacity 1 million gallons each
  • Two carbon steel tanks – gross capacity 500,000 gallons each
  • Options: Heating, insulation, nitrogen blanketing
  • Multimodal logistics: Seagoing vessels, barges, trucks, railcars
  • Suitable for, but not limited to: Vegetable oils, base oils, methyl esters, fertilizers, chemicals, caustics, waxes
  • Custom-designed storage and handling solutions possible for specific product requirements
  • Completed March 2016
