Mr. James “Jim” Keller joined Contanda Terminals LLC in August 2016 as the Vice President, Legal. Jim has been in the energy industry for over 35 years, serving in a variety of upstream, midstream and downstream legal capacities with Cities Service, Williams Natural Gas, Aquila Energy, Enron and Enterprise Products.
As Vice President and General Counsel of Aquila Energy, Jim was responsible for all legal, land and contract administration activities associated with wholesale trading, production, gathering and processing activities. He subsequently joined Enron as Vice President, Law for their retail marketing subsidiary. After relocating to Houston, he was elected Vice President and Assistant General Counsel of Enron Energy Services and given responsibility for all retail energy commodity activities. After the Enron bankruptcy, Jim was selected to remain with the bankruptcy estate until joining Enterprise Products as Assistant General Counsel. At Enterprise, he worked on a wide range of commercial activities associated with domestic gathering, transportation, storage, processing and fractionation projects and served as the primary counsel for the international marketing team.
Jim has a BS in Business Administration from Oklahoma State University and a Master’s in Business Administration and Juris Doctorate from the University of Tulsa.
